Gary is known by his bandmates and others as the "Human Jukebox". Name a song (especially Beatles) and somehow Gary can play it. It's as though he has done nothing in his life but learn and retain music. He must not sleep! Fellow Rigby Mike recalls a situation where Gary was called in to rescue a band whose guitar player had became ill before a gig. Gary asked to glance briefly at the song list, then floored everyone as he played the entire evening, every song nearly flawlessly. Gary's talent is a great asset to the Rigbys, delivering stunning John Lennon like vocals, and skillful guitar playing.

Gary, like the others, is a seasoned musician who can't get enough of "THE LADS". Have fun trying to "stump" him with Beatle's trivia, movie, and TV facts. A recent audience member asked Gary "Do you do any MEATLOAF? " to which he responded, "Yes I do it with mashed potatoes & corn".

A Lifelong Beatle fan, his brother played Beatle albums over & over for Gary. They were literally his lullabies. Gary also spent 8 years in the Chase with fellow bandmate Mike Corley, and is in very high demand as a fill in guitar player because of his vast musical knowledge. After 25 year of playing various styles in various bands, Gary is more than willing to celebrate the music of The Beatles with his current bandmates. As Gary puts it: "Who else but The Beatles could sell 20 million copies of their greatest hits 30 years after the breakup. "Thank you very much you've got a lucky face."
